The website cannot function correctly without these cookies. This also includes information on the execution of payment transactions, which is then necessarily exchanged with the relevant third-party payment providers. Such data are only processed and transmitted when a corresponding payment transaction is triggered.

2.2 Statistics

We use statistical cookies to obtain information about how our website is used in order to make continuous improvements. This is done anonymously, i.e. no personal data about you are stored. For example, we collect data about which devices and which browsers are used to access our website in order to optimise it for these devices and browsers. In addition, we collect data on which areas of the site are actively used, which items are searched for, which files and videos attract attention and from which regions the website is accessed.

This information is collected on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimisation and marketing purposes in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR by using Matomo software (www.matomo.org), and the information is stored on JEMAKO's own servers. Pseudonymised usage profiles can be created and evaluated from this data for the same purpose. Cookies can be used for this. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the site visitor's internet browser. Among other things, cookies enable recognition of the internet browser. The data collected using Matomo technology (including your pseudonymised IP address) are processed on our servers.

The information generated by the cookie in the pseudonymous user profile is not used to identify the visitor to this website personally and is not merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

If you do not agree with the storage and evaluation of these data from your visit, then you can object to the storage and future use of the data at any time by mouse click. In this case, an opt-out cookie is placed in your browser, with the result that Matomo does not collect any session data. Please note that complete deletion of your cookies will also result in deletion of the opt-out cookie, which you may then need to reactivate.

Insofar as legally required, we have obtained your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR for the processing of your data as described above. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of revocation, please follow the procedure for filing an objection as described above.

2.3 Marketing

Marketing cookies are used to follow visitors on websites. The aim is to show ads that are appealing and relevant to the respective user. Data may be transferred to third parties in the process.

YouTube:

This website uses the YouTube embedding function to display and play videos from the provider "YouTube", which belongs to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). Data transfers to YouTube only take place when a video is started. We call up these videos from YouTube with the no-cookie option in order not to transfer any data to YouTube by default. If you use YouTube, processing of user data may still take place and it is likely that data will be transferred to the USA. By using it, you consent to your data possibly being processed in the USA. We have no influence on this.

Facebook:

Facebook Pixel, for the creation of custom audiences with advanced data matching, is used.

Within our online offer, the Facebook Pixel of the Facebook social network is used in the mode of extended data matching, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook").

On the basis of the user’s express consent, when a user clicks on an advertisement played on Facebook and placed by us, an addition is added to the URL of our linked page by Facebook Pixel. Then, after forwarding, this URL parameter is inscribed in the user's browser by means of a cookie, which is set by our linked page itself. In addition, this cookie collects specific customer data such as the e-mail address that we collect on our website linked to the Facebook ad during processes such as purchase transactions, account logins or registrations (extended data matching). The cookie is then read by Facebook Pixel and enables the data, including the specific customer data, to be forwarded to Facebook.

With the help of the Facebook Pixel with extended data matching, it is possible for Facebook, for one thing, to precisely determine the visitors to our online offer as a target group for displaying advertisements (Facebook ads). Accordingly, we use the Facebook Pixel with advanced data matching to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited), which we transmit to Facebook (custom audiences). With the help of the Facebook Pixel with advanced data matching, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a nuisance effect. This allows us to further evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market-research purposes by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (conversion). Compared to the standard Facebook Pixel variant, the advanced data matching feature helps us to better measure the effectiveness of our ad campaigns by capturing more attributed conversions.

All transmitted data will be stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook data usage policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data may enable Facebook and its partners to serve ads on and off Facebook.

These processing operations are only carried out when explicit consent is given in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

Consent to the use of Facebook Pixel may only be given by users over the age of 13. If you are younger, please ask your parent or guardian for permission.

The information generated by Facebook is usually transmitted to a Facebook server and stored there; this may also involve transmission to the servers of Facebook Inc. in the USA. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To do this, deactivate the consent for marketing.

Google:

We use Google AdWords, an advertising component, along with conversion tracking, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as “Google”).

We use conversion tracking to systematically promote our offer and measure the success of ads. In the event that you consent to this processing, the legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

If you click on an ad placed by Google, the conversion tracking we use stores a cookie on your device. If the cookie is still valid when you visit a specific page on our website, both we and Google can assess that you clicked on one of our ads placed on Google and that you were then redirected to our website.

Based on this, Google generates statistics about the visit to our website, along with information about the number of users who clicked on our ad(s) and about the pages subsequently visited on our website. This does not give us the ability to identify visitors personally, however.

If you are registered with a Google service, Google Ads can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, it is possible that Google will identify your IP address and other identifying features and store these. In this case, your data will be passed along to Google, the operator of Google Ads. We cannot rule out that Google will store the data outside the EU, including in the USA.

You can prevent or restrict the storage of cookies by making the corresponding settings on your browser. You can also delete stored cookies at any time. The specific steps involved depend on your Internet browser.
